So we’ve been missing for a while. Blame it on a royal pain in the neck, that developed into an infection of the lymph nodes, that spread to the surrounding muscles, that then triggered a fainting fit at Tribhuvan Airport, right before our flight home.
Stumbling around Kathmandu looking for an ENT specialist wasn’t all that fun. Spending a week in hospital wasn’t all that fun. But the room did have satellite TV and the nurses were nice.
While we were away, a Nepali won Indian idol, the Maoists pulled out of government and India beat Pakistan in the first 20Twenty World Championships. Exciting times.
The pain’s gone now though the lump’s still there. Our bags are packed. We’re finally leaving tomorrow. Time for some r&r.
